to be,
hopefully
this weekend
i'll settle in
to get through

pupusas

food adventures are plentiful

in this city.

i wanted to try el salvadoran

pupusas,

this small and busy place

not only had 

delicious pupusas served with

a cabbage slaw,

there were mexican 

favourites to sample

such as 

tacos and tamales

accompanied with

a vivid green beverage.

jazz

we followed

the rainbow

to the 

jazz festival

and 

saw 

the branford marsalis quartet

a stellar

performance.

long summer nights

from neighbouring

gardens

voices, music, 

singing

is heard,

we are not alone

celebrating

summer nights

into the 

early 

morning

darkness.

flea market

at the flea

many things

tempted

happily

went

home

empty

handed.
