from a favourite department store

a mellow yellow

a november colour

blue,white and red

awning fatigue,

a generous selection of red jackets.

i liked the red shoes and the hat box.

it was tempting

to buy a number of interesting things,

nothing was brought

home.

what i noticed

while shopping yesterday.

a walk in the woods

a walk in the woods is an inspiring way to

start the day,

i do not have to leave the city.

how urban though

a figure spray painted on a tree.

a lifestyle centre

we visited a lifestyle centre, a shopping mall

reconfigured

with streets and walkways, a clock tower, outdoor café,

and many things being promised,

more condos and recreation, fitness and dining and

more shopping, shopping...

we took a break from all this lifestyle

at a bakery restaurant located in an independent bookstore

and took in the view, the gluten free warm chocolate fudge

cake was very good.

then we left, i was not the one wearing the black frye boots.
