lunch at luna

it was one of those places

that i often walked by and admired,

thinking, i should go there someday.

the other day we did go in for lunch.

located in what was once a corner store

that sold vegetables, coca cola and pepsi

this cafe wins top rating for character and

ambiance. it was pleasantly busy,

with bustling neighbourhood activity outside.

we enjoyed our vegetarian wraps that

were delicious and satisfying. i look

forward to my next visit.

the occasions

dispiriting.

the needed purchase.

day lunch.

magnolia blossoms

for me to

enjoy.

at last

cherry blossoms

appeared,

the sun

disappeared.

cherry tree buds

burst

into blossoms,

willow leaves

promising

to unfurl

any day

and the

water

still a chilly

blue.
