chasing butterflies

this attractive
butterfly visited my
tiny dark garden
today,
i ran inside
for my camera,
he was still there
when i returned.
it is a giant swallowtail
minus the tails, a bit
worse for wear
but a stunner
nevertheless.

looking at 

art made us

hungry, we had

a lunch break

at the gallery

cafe. through

the window we watched 

the sun disappear

and the

rain began continuing

into the late

afternoon.

we visited

more galleries

and saw this interesting

photo exhibit.

the last

stop before

heading home

a cafe.
